Sanna Dullaway, aka MyGrapeFruit, started a business in restoring and colourizing old black & white photographs. These images from her Reddit Color Restoration Project are the best I’ve seen anywhere. Some of her more iconic images are available for sale as posters and canvas prints here.

These vintage inspired fashion images from Stefan Giftthaler for Qvest Magazine are spot on. The styling and filter effects capture the 30s and 40s perfectly.

These moody images were captured by photographer Jurgen Heckel of Munich, Germany. I love the subdued color palette and the dreamy quality of the images.
Perhaps I’m in need of a long vacation, but I find these photographs relaxing and almost zen-like. These stunning images are from self taught photographer Mac Oller, and taken in and around the United Kingdom. There are more images in the series, entitled Lands End, as well as other work on his site.
These beautiful floral photographs are the work of Dave King, a professional photographer based in London. What sounds like a lengthy (and messy) process makes me appreciate the quality of these images that much more. Through challenging camera angles, German photographer Menno Aden abstracts actual living environments and public interiors into flattened two-dimensional scale models. Aden installed a camera on the ceiling of various rooms to take these pictures. The result is a fresh perspective of the space that surrounds us.
